About Writers Off-Leash
Literature is experience. Many of us wander alone inside our heads, hesitant to share the breadth of our imagination and the depth of our feelings for fear of censure or ridicule or misunderstanding. Most of us are afraid to write because to do so is to expose ourselves.

Off-Leash is a space where, as a reader, you can find experimental works to read and gain experience from the writers who take risks. As a writer, you can experiment and gamble on your intuition, without getting a publisher’s rejection letter. No need to tell friends or family, or even attach your name to what you write. You may even get helpful suggestions from readers.

One experiment is a novel which will be put up on the site in serial format, one episode at a time. Through our on-site forum, you will be able to respond to an episode, ask questions and make suggestions about how the plot should develop, or a character should respond to a problem. The writer may adjust future episodes based on your suggestions, and your questions or comments are shared with readers through the forum.

There is also a space for photos because “a picture is worth a thousand words.”
The website will evolve as readers make suggestions and experiments succeed or fail, and you will be informed of additions and changes in the “What’s New” section of the title page.
